The Senior Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and managing applications within Temple Health. Responsibilities include leading application projects from start to finish and meeting project deadlines and goals. Additionally, the role is responsible for coordinating the development of new features, testing, and implementing regular vendor releases and system upgrades, and resolving system issues. As the expert and escalation point for other IT team members, the Senior Clinical Application Analyst will provide technical and functional application analysis, define system requirements, and develop logical data models using best practices. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and TUHS stakeholders to provide training on system functionality and configure new features and functionality to increase user productivity within the application.
Education
Bachelors Degree: in Nursing or relevant field /clinical specialty (Required)
Experience
5 Year Experience in related role with an ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve problems efficiently (Required)
General Experience and Knowledge in direct patient care processes and workflows (Required)
General Experience and in-depth knowledge of fundamental hardware configurations, database management tools, and query language (Required)
General Experience overseeing projects with the ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest/implement process changes, as well as find/fix complex problems that involve multiple integrated applications (Required)
General Experience and strong understanding of data security and privacy standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA or equivalent (Required)
General Experience in Healthcare IT (Preferred)
