Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Client Coordinator based in United States.

The Sr. Client Coordinator will act as a project management and print-production expert supporting a key global packaging account. Based onsite in Midtown Manhattan four days per week with one remote day, this role sits at the center of the packaging artwork and prepress supply chain. You will collaborate with clients, design agencies, printers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are technically sound, efficiently planned, and delivered on time. The position combines client relationship management, project coordination, technical print expertise, estimating, scheduling, and issue resolution. You will help shape production approaches early in the creative process while supporting complex projects through execution and delivery. This is an opportunity to provide consultative value, improve processes, and directly influence the quality and reliability of high-profile packaging programs.

Accountabilities
  • Consult with clients, agencies, production teams, and other stakeholders throughout artwork development and prepress execution, providing guidance on production approaches and printability.
  • Lead and participate in pre-production meetings, project meetings, and print trials when appropriate, particularly for complex projects.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, estimates, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment follow-up while ensuring projects remain aligned with scope and deadlines.
  • Build strong, responsive relationships with clients and onsite stakeholders by providing timely, professional communication and resolving requests effectively.
  • Coordinate artwork issues and technical questions between clients, internal teams, external partners, printers, and management.
  • Review supplied technical data against artwork requirements and document critical information that could affect quality, production, or delivery.
  • Coordinate global packaging project bundles by gathering required inputs, defining project scope, and briefing production teams on regional requirements.
  • Manage artwork and prepress scheduling, production priorities, potential challenges, rework, and issue resolution throughout project execution.
  • Enter and maintain accurate orders, ensuring all information is complete and ready for production.
  • Communicate the receipt and shipment of artwork to relevant stakeholders and maintain accurate project information in client tracking systems.
  • Develop and update pricing matrices according to client requirements and project needs.
  • Participate in production meetings and process-improvement initiatives designed to strengthen workflow efficiency and business performance.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client processes, deliverables, production requirements, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Provide training, guidance, and knowledge-sharing support to junior project managers or new team members when needed.
  • Escalate significant project, technical, quality, or client issues to management and perform additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of progressive project coordination experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, with the ability to manage projects from initial planning through completion while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, internet applications, and other standard business productivity tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, budgeting, planning, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to analyze information, interpret requirements, and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of mathematical concepts, particularly in relation to estimates, pricing, and project coordination.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, colleagues, peers, management, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with peers and management.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong focus on deadlines, reporting, quality, and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with packaging artwork, prepress, print production, or manufacturing environments is valuable.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally on a local, national, and/or international basis.
  • Ability to work effectively in an onsite client-facing environment and communicate through digital and in-person channels.
Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $100,000-$110,000 USD, with final compensation determined by location, experience, and other job-related factors.
  • Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week in Midtown Manhattan.
  • Health care plan options with prescription drug coverage.
  • Dental and vision insurance.
  • Basic and supplemental life insurance.
  • Flexible Spending Account for medical and dependent-care expenses or a Health Savings Account, depending on plan selection.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) Savings Plan.
  • Opportunity to work with major packaging and print-production programs in a collaborative, client-facing environment.
  • Opportunities to develop project management, technical print, client relationship, and process-improvement expertise.
  • Potential for occasional local, national, and international travel.
  • Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
