Jobot in Texas is seeking a Permanent Transportation Project Engineer to lead roadway transportation projects, from design through construction, delivering safe, efficient infrastructure for our municipal partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil/transportation engineering, a bachelor's in civil engineering, strong project management skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation; PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a focus on transportation projects.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design transportation projects with emphasis on roadway infrastructure.
• Manage and oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to meet objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on transportation projects and roadway infrastructure.
3. Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
4. Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
