Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Transportation Project Engineer to lead transportation projects, focusing on roadway infrastructure, in a reputable civil engineering firm partnered with local Texas municipalities. The successful candidate will design, plan, and oversee projects from conception to completion, with a minimum of five years in engineering and proven project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering with transportation experience.
• Experience with budgeting and scheduling for projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Developing and designing transportation projects, with emphasis on roadway infrastructure.
• Managing and overseeing all phases of the project from conception to completion.
• Coordinating with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Preparing and presenting project reports, proposals, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensuring all projects adhere to safety regulations, environmental policies, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Keeping abreast of industry advancements and applying this knowledge to improve processes and project outcomes.

6. 6. Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
7. 7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
