Job summary

Crawford is seeking a Senior Casualty Adjuster - Inside who can own complex claims with independence and judgment. You will resolve casualty claims with analytical rigor, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and advise on litigation when appropriate.

Work from anywhere in the US under moderate supervision; you will interpret policies and endorsements, collaborate with legal teams, regulators, clients and contractors, and mentor junior adjusters while maintaining strong production standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience handling casualty claims, including complex exposures.

Responsibilities

• Own the outcome: set loss reserves, negotiate settlements, control claim costs, and recommend litigation when appropriate.
• Apply your expertise: interpret policies, endorsements, and client instructions to ensure accurate, compliant claim resolutions.
• Be a trusted partner: collaborate with legal teams, regulators, clients, and contractors while mentoring junior adjusters as needed.
• Under moderate to light supervision, investigates, reserves, negotiates, evaluates and settles casualty claims of complex exposure including fatalities; presents evidence in legal proceedings while maintaining adequate production levels; makes sales calls when requested to do so.
