Role Overview

We’re actively seeking a talented Global Procurement Solutions Senior Business Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Finance Technology Delivery. This role supports the Global Procurement Solutions (“GPS”) team in Finance as their primary customer.

This role is 100% remote, preferably in the EST timezone. You’ll stay connected to Pacific Life from your home office.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Application Configuration & Administration:
    • Lead evaluation and resolution of software issues and plan for system updates, including coordination of environment upgrades and refreshes
    • Maintain configuration and documentation, incorporating impacts from change requests and new functionality implemented through release upgrades
    • Engage directly with end users in support of issue resolution and enhancement activities as part of production support
    • Manage user administration including assignment of roles and user access levels
    • Support global Coupa instance with multiple currencies, localizations, charts of accounts, and configurations
  2. Integration Management:
    • Partner with technology teams on development and support of system integrations and future enhancements
    • Coordinate integration testing and error resolution
  3. General & End User Support:
    • Triaging tickets and managing escalations
    • Performing root cause analysis for incidents
    • Training users and team members on relevant processes and tools
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, or similar
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in Coupa system administration
  • Experience with release management, system controls, testing, supplier onboarding, and integrations
  • Understanding of accounting and budget processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and business acumen
  • Customer-first approach and commitment to continuous improvement
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Life Insurance or Financial Services and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Archer, SailPoint, MuleSoft, OpenText, Postman, SharePoint, Snowflake
  • Experience with change management and end user training
  • Understanding of Segregation of Duties and ICFR controls

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $121,770 - $148,830. Benefits start day 1, including health, wellness, paid time off, parental leave, and 401k plans.
