Job summary

AFRY USA is seeking a Senior Building Systems Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for new facilities and upgrades. Responsibilities include leading a team, ensuring design quality, coordinating with other disciplines, and delivering detailed drawings and reports.

In-office presence is required. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 10+ years in building mechanical engineering, PE license, knowledge of codes (IBC, IMC, IPC, IFC, ASHRAE, ASPE),

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in building mechanical engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with U.S. work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead as senior engineer for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design on projects.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, and schedules; ensure design quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with structural, process, electrical, and civil teams; mentor staff.
