Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd in Dallas is seeking a senior Data Architect / Data Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end data platforms on Azure Databricks, with Unity Catalog governance and DBT/ELT tooling.

The role requires 10+ years in data architecture and 5+ years leading data engineering, strong PySpark, Spark SQL, and experience building scalable data ecosystems for insurance, healthcare or financial services domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in data architecture / engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure-native data services and Databricks.
• Strong Python / PySpark and Spark SQL skills.
• Experience with data governance, RBAC, and security.

Overview :

Location:REMOTE Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture / data ecosystem using Azure-native services and Databricks
  
• Build scalable, high-performance data platforms and robust data frameworks
  
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable data solutions
  
• Implement data governance principles using Unity Catalog
  
• Create and implement data ingestion and data integration patterns using Medallion Architecture
  
• Develop PySpark notebooks
  
• Create procedures for advanced data transformation
  
• Handle performance tuning in Databricks and Azure SQL DBs
  

Architect end-to-end data solutions supporting:

Required Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of architecture experience in data architecture / data engineering roles

Should have worked with the latest Databricks capabilities including:
