Job summary

Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd in Dallas is seeking a senior Data Architect / Data Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end data platforms on Azure Databricks, with Unity Catalog governance and DBT/ELT tooling.

The role requires 10+ years in data architecture and 5+ years leading data engineering, strong PySpark, Spark SQL, and experience building scalable data ecosystems for insurance, healthcare or financial services domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in data architecture / engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure-native data services and Databricks.
• Strong Python / PySpark and Spark SQL skills.
• Experience with data governance, RBAC, and security.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tooling (Fivetran, HVR) and DBT.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures and data ecosystems on Azure.
• Build scalable data platforms and robust data frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Implement governance using Unity Catalog and ensure security/compliance.
• Develop data ingestion and transformation patterns with ELT tools.
