Position

System Administrator

Position Description

Contract is seeking an Atlassian System Administrator for a growing government client located in Ft. Collins, CO. The ideal candidate will work on an agile team to support and continue development of a containerized stack in a Linux PaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage back-end configuration of an Atlassian server suite for optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Support a containerized Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo, Bitbucket) within a secure Linux PaaS environment.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop deployment and maintenance automation for existing and new services.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot problems within DevOps tools, network, storage, and servers.

The ideal candidate will

• Be able to implement and maintain DevOps systems and IT automation; identify root causes and work with a cross-functional team.
• Have Python and Bash scripting experience.
• Have 2+ years of experience administering an on-premise Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd).
• Be proficient with Docker, Salt or Ansible, Git, Bamboo or Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory or Nexus, NGINX, MySQL.

Compensation varies based on role requirements, education, certifications, knowledge, experience, and location. The posted pay range represents the lower to upper bound Synergy believes it might pay for this job in good faith, depending on circumstances. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for geographic differential and it is not typical to hire near the top of the range.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $92,000.00 – $136,000.00.
