Job summary

Advantest America is seeking a technically skilled professional to lead RF testing initiatives on the V93000 System on Chips in San Jose. You will develop ATE test programs in Java for digital and RF devices and collaborate with customers to optimize test coverage.

This role requires hands-on debugging of SmarTest software, RF hardware considerations, and the ability to translate customer requirements into robust lab solutions, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Provide technical leadership in sales and support for Advantest V93000 systems.
• Develop ATE test programs (Java) for digital and RF devices.
• Support customers on debugging SmarTest SW and test programs.
• Deliver RF technology software/hardware solutions including Bluetooth, WiFi, 5G, mmWave.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues in SmarTest software and test programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical leadership and support in the sales and support of Advantest V93000 Semiconductor Test Systems and Applications for a specific customer or wherever business needs dictate.
• Develop ATE test programs (java) for digital and RF devices on the V93000 platform.
• Support customers on debugging and resolving SmarTest SW and Test Program issues.
• Provide RF technology technical software and hardware solutions in fields like Bluetooth, WiFi802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 5G, 4, UWB, and mmWave.
• Ability to assist in the design of hardware for testing RF devices; having knowledge of RF Matching and De-embedding is a plus
• Ensures the product functions per specifications.
• Integrates Advantest products and services (at the system/solutions level) into customer's environment
• Perform analysis of complex IC manufacturer customer requirements providing expertise on topics such as: Performance, Design, Utilization, Optimization, test program development/conversions and Implementation Strategies
• Accountable for the design, scoping, and technical validity of the solution to achieve the customer's business objectives
• Create project plans for complex projects and track project completion
• Represent customer's needs of their assigned business segment to field or factory
• Focus for technical topics is on RF technologies
• Works on system/application engineering assignments with clearly defined objectives

Travel:

Up to 10% travel to various customer and Advantest sites
