Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. is seeking a Technical Consultant for RF parametric testing. The role involves supporting R&D and manufacturing projects, demonstrating solutions to customers, and developing test automation solutions for various wireless technologies. On-site support is primarily in the USA but may occasionally require travel to Asia or Europe. The candidate will also contribute to the global engineering team and provide ideas for product and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support both R&D and manufacturing projects with RF parametric testing.
• Demonstrate manufacturing solutions with wireless modem chipset vendors.
• Develop and test manufacturing test automation solutions.
• Create test plans and methods for WIFI/BT/UWB and 4G/5G testing.
• Provide on-site customer support, mostly in the USA.
• Contribute ideas for product and process improvements.

Job description

• Technical consultant for RF parametric testing supporting both R&D and manufacturing projects
• Demonstrate R&S manufacturing solutions with different wireless modem chipset vendors to the customers
• Develop, integrate and test R&S manufacturing test automation solutions within customer’s test environment
• Advocate to customers on R&S manufacturing tools, creating test plans and test methods for WIFI/BT/UWB and 4G/5G testing
• Support customers on site, mostly in USA but occasionally in Asia or Europe as per project demands
• Be a part of global Engineering team, actively contribute with ideas on product and process improvements
