Job summary

Kelly Services Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Analyst, Risk and Insurance to support data management, financial reporting, and controls for workers compensation and unemployment claims. You will administer Origami RMIS and partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high quality controls.

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Risk Intelligence and requires SOX/SSAE knowledge, vendor management, and strong analytic skills to design reporting frameworks and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Risk Management, Business, or a related field; or 5+ years of experience in a RMIS administration, risk operations, or similar systems analyst role.
• Experience with Workers Compensation programs.
• Experience with RMIS platforms (Origami Risk or Riskonnect, Ventiv, RMIS by Marsh).
• Database querying and report building across multiple functions; ability to design and manage reporting frameworks from the ground up.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements, particularly as they relate to internal controls, and experience with internal/external auditors.
• Familiarity with SSAE 16 / SOC 1 reports and how to review them for service organization controls.
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation programs in US/Canada contexts, and vendor management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage intake portals, shared mailboxes, and concurrent cases; clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed learner with the ability to ramp quickly on proprietary platforms.

The Sr. Analyst, Risk and Insurance supports data management and integrity, financial reporting, and financial controls associated with the unemployment and workers compensation claim functions, as well as reporting and data analytics supporting the corporate safety function. This role administers the Origami risk management information system and serves internal and external customers while ensuring consistent quality of controls. The Sr. Analyst, Risk and Insurance reports to the Sr. Director, Risk Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting, financial controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Workers Compensation (WC).
• Coordinate internal and external key control testing and/or process reviews.
• Administer the Origami Request mailbox, triage all incoming cases via the case intake portal, and complete assigned cases in a timely manner.
• Maintain relationships with all vendors, including Origami, and Third Party Administrators (TPAs) for US and Canadian Workers Compensation.

Reporting Frameworks & Data Analytics

• Support the chargeback programs for WC, including data preparation, performance evaluation, and analysis of potential modifications.
• Expand, standardize, and control reporting for Workers Compensation, Enterprise Health, Safety & Environmental, Education Security, and Unemployment functions.
• Propose, design, develop, and manage reports that are responsive to the needs of all customers.
• Prepare and distribute all assigned standardized reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Risk Management, Business, or a related field; or 5+ years of experience in a RMIS administration, risk operations, or similar systems analyst role.
• Experience with Workers Compensation programs.
• Experience with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS), ideally Origami Risk or comparable platforms (e.g., Riskonnect, Ventiv, RMIS by Marsh).
• Database querying and report building across multiple business functions; ability to design and manage reporting frameworks from the ground up.
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements, particularly as they relate to internal controls, and experience working with internal and external auditors.
• Familiarity with SSAE 16 / SOC 1 reports and how to review them for service organization controls.
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation programs in US and Canadian contexts, and experience with Third Party Administrator (TPA) relationships and vendor management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage an intake portal, shared mailbox, and concurrent cases; clear communication skills to translate technical system needs for non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed learner with the ability to ramp quickly on proprietary platforms and develop growing subject matter expertise over time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Origami Risk certifications or formal training; demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on proprietary RMIS platforms is a significant differentiator.
• Exposure to Enterprise Health, Safety & Environmental (EHS) or Enterprise Security functions.

Base pay range for this position is $61,575 - $75,000. Final hourly compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
