Job summary

Kelly Services Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Analyst, Risk and Insurance to support data management, financial reporting, and controls for workers compensation and unemployment claims. You will administer Origami RMIS and partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high quality controls.

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Risk Intelligence and requires SOX/SSAE knowledge, vendor management, and strong analytic skills to design reporting frameworks and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Risk Management, Business, or a related field; or 5+ years of experience in a RMIS administration, risk operations, or similar systems analyst role.
• Experience with Workers Compensation programs.
• Experience with RMIS platforms (Origami Risk or Riskonnect, Ventiv, RMIS by Marsh).
• Database querying and report building across multiple functions; ability to design and manage reporting frameworks from the ground up.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements, particularly as they relate to internal controls, and experience with internal/external auditors.
• Familiarity with SSAE 16 / SOC 1 reports and how to review them for service organization controls.
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation programs in US/Canada contexts, and vendor management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage intake portals, shared mailboxes, and concurrent cases; clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed learner with the ability to ramp quickly on proprietary platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting, financial controls, and SOX compliance for Workers Compensation (WC).
• Coordinate internal and external key control testing and/or process reviews.
• Administer Origami Request mailbox, triage all incoming cases via the case intake portal, and complete assigned cases in a timely manner.
• Maintain relationships with all vendors, including Origami, and TPAs for US and Canadian Workers Compensation.
• Propose, design, develop, and manage reports that are responsive to the needs of all customers.
• Prepare and distribute all assigned standardized reports.
