Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Sr. Agile Business Systems Analyst to translate business needs into actionable system requirements and guide Scrum teams across projects.

You will collaborate with UI/UX, architects, developers, QA, and vendors to deliver enterprise applications and drive process improvements that support long-term success.

Onsite presence is required in Lansing, MI, with regular interaction across business units and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years of BA or SA experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for multiple projects.
• Proficient with Agile tools and lifecycle management (epics, features, user stories).
• Understanding BA/QA/Development roles and responsibilities.
• Experience documenting as-is and to-be business processes.
• Experience creating test plans and supporting QA activities.
• Onsite availability (onsite 2 days a week).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with stakeholders and project teams.
• Create and maintain Agile backlogs (epics, features, user stories).
• Coordinate Scrum activities using Jira and/or Monday.com with the Project Manager.
• Develop test plans with business stakeholders.
• Document as-is and future-state business processes and create repeatable documentation.
• Monitor scope and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, solution architects, developers, DBAs, QA testers, and vendors.
• Complete SEM business analysis deliverables.

Job Title : Sr. Agile Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview

Play a key role in delivering Agile technology projects by translating business needs into clear, testable system requirements while guiding teams through Scrum practices. This position combines business analysis, backlog management, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to support enterprise applications and long-term operational success.

What You'll Do

• Gather, analyze, and document clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Create and maintain Agile project backlogs, including epics, features, and user stories.
• Coordinate Scrum activities using Jira and/or Monday.com while working alongside the Project Manager.
• Develop test plans in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Document as-is and future-state business processes and create repeatable operational documentation.
• Monitor project scope and ensure requirements align with project objectives.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, solution architects, developers, database administrators, QA testers, and vendor partners.
• Complete assigned System Engineering Methodology (SEM) business analysis deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of Business Analyst or System Analyst experience.
• 5 years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• 5 years of Agile tool experience, including creating epics, features, user stories, and managing work through the project lifecycle.
• 5 years of understanding BA, QA, and Development roles and responsibilities.
• 5 years of experience documenting as-is and to-be business processes.
• Experience creating test plans and supporting QA activities.
• Ability to work onsite every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience creating product roadmaps.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience using Figma and Visio.
• A mentoring or coaching approach to helping business teams adopt Agile practices and sustainable processes.
