Job summary

Atrium, Atlanta-based, is seeking a finance leader to own the 10-day month-end close and ensure GAAP-compliant financials across the manufacturing and supply-chain platform.

You will own reconciliations in NetSuite (COGS, debt, assets, AP/AR), migrate data from legacy ERPs, manage external contractors, and support audits, with emphasis on inventory accuracy and project costing.

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred; active status adds weight.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience and skilled in month-end close.
• Manufacturing exposure with inventory and COGS understanding.
• Big 4/Top 10 public accounting background.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 10-day month-end close process.
• Ensure reconciliations in NetSuite incl. COGS, debt, assets, AP/AR.
• Migrate and clean legacy ERP data.
• Manage external accounting contractors and audits.
• Produce margin, time-to-pay, and deal data reporting.

Job description

Atrium is currently engaged with a Series A VC-backed company that, at its core, is a manufacturing business, but have also built a tech platform to help connect and manage the entire supply chain, from sourcing materials to transportation, processing, and delivery.

The role:

• Lead the 10-day month-end close process
• Ensure accurate reconciliations in NetSuite, including COGS, debt schedules, asset tracking, AP/AR, and other balance sheet items.
• Clean up and validate historical transactions, including migrating and updating data from legacy ERPs
• Manage external accounting contractors
• Support external audit processes and maintain compliance with GAAP accounting standards.
• Margin reporting, time to payment, and deal data reporting
• Partner with the Finance Operations Manager to ensure accurate project costing
• Maintain oversight of inventory and work in process accuracy.

The Keys:

• Big 4, or Top 10 Public Accounting Firms
• CPA - Highly, highly preferred. (CPA is not a hard requirement, but it will carry significant weight in the process)
• NetSuite Expert - Need someone who has genuine hands-on NetSuite experience and can confidently operate within the system, they’re going through implementations now
• Startup / High-Growth Experience
• Manufacturing Exposure: Candidates do not necessarily need to be coming directly from a manufacturing company today, but they do need to understand: Inventory, COGS
