Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA certification required
• 5+ years of experience in accounting field, 3 years in public accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Sage

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute key month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
• Manage accounting transactions and implement system solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Build cross-functional relationships across departments to support company initiatives, ensuring adherence to policies; identify and elevate key issues to senior leadership, partnering to drive problem‑solving and decision‑making
• Recommend and implement changes to strengthen the internal control environment

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and financial reporting duties, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements, and company policies. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.

Requirements

What will you do?

• Manage and execute key month‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
• Manage accounting transactions and implement system solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Build cross‑functional relationships across departments to support company initiatives, ensuring adherence to policies; identify and elevate key issues to senior leadership, partnering to drive problem‑solving and decision‑making
• Recommend and implement changes to strengthen the internal control environmentContribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses as needed
• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly and reconciled regularly

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA certification required
• 5+ years of experience in accounting field, 3 years in public accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Sage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Experience in implementing and improving business processes and systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Primarily sedentary work performed in a climate‑controlled office environment
