Job summary

The Senior Accountant role at N/A is a key position in Windsor, CT, joining a rapidly growing organization expanding through acquisitions. You will manage day-to-day reconciliations and support month-end close, with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities include assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and prepaids. Strong analytical skills and 2–5 years of accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including strong hands-on reconciliation of balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Heavy reconciliations as part of day-to-day responsibilities.
• Support the month-end close, quarter end and annual close process.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, prepaids and more.
• Assist with implementation of sound processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant

• Support the month-end close, quarter end and annual close process.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, prepaids and more
• Assist with implementation of sound processes and procedures.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including strong hands-on experience reconciling balance sheets and P&L statements
• Experience with Sage 100 accounting software is preferred but not required

Salary: $90,000-$100,000
