Atrium Staffing is partnering with a nationally recognized leader to hire a Senior Accountant in Florida. The role supports accounting across multiple locations, overseeing month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting under US GAAP.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including cash flow monitoring, vendor payments, and customer billing/collections.
• Perform financial analysis, investigate variances, and prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Partner cross-functionally to enhance financial processes and data integrity across locations.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k - $85k Annually, Depending on Experience

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting accounting functions across multiple locations. This is an excellent position for candidates looking to transition out of public accounting. This position is responsible for managing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial activities. The Senior Accountant will assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance oversight, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting, with key attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

• Experience supporting multiple entities or locations.
• Background in operational or facility-based accounting.
• Candidates coming out of public accounting environments are highly encouraged to apply.
