Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for a two-month, fully remote assignment to support revenue reconciliation, month-end close, and accounting adjustments. Immediate start with emphasis on e-commerce and cash reconciliation.

You will work independently, leveraging SAP and Shopify, handling accruals, journal entries, and system improvements while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and Shopify platforms.

Senior Accountant - Temporary Fully Remote Opportunity

Join a dynamic personal care product company as a Senior Accountant, where your expertise will illuminate financial processes and support essential business functions. This immediate, short-term role is perfect for seasoned accounting professionals eager to leverage their skills in a fast-paced, fully remote environment, covering a medical leave for approximately two months.

What You’ll Do:

• Reconcile monthly e-commerce sales and ensure precise revenue recognition
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across multiple cash holding accounts
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, journal entries, and accounting adjustments
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and process enhancements
• Collaborate on month-end close activities to deliver timely, accurate financial reports
• Perform additional accounting and reconciliation tasks as needed

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in revenue and e-commerce reconciliations
• Strong proficiency in SAP and Shopify platforms
• Knowledge of UAT testing procedures is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with system integrations and process improvements
