Job Juncture is partnered with a high-growth food and beverage company to fill a Senior Accountant contract role. This fully remote position supports month-end close, ERP transitions to NetSuite, and FloQast implementations.

40 hours/week, 100% remote for US-based candidates, with duration through at least Q1 2027 and potential longer-term opportunities. The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, strong month-end close skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop; NetSuite experience

Qualifications

• QuickBooks Desktop experience required.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred, ERP implementation/transition a plus.

Job description

Fully Remote – U.S. Based | $34–$48/Hour | 40 Hours/Week

We are partnering with a high-growth food and beverage/consumer products company seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity.

The immediate need was created by a maternity leave, while several significant accounting and systems initiatives are also creating additional demands on the team. The assignment is expected to continue through at least Q1 2027.

This is a contract position today. As with any longer-term assignment, a permanent opportunity could potentially develop based on future business needs and mutual fit, but there is no guarantee of conversion.

Responsibilities

Support the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis and close activities

Prepare and support recurring financial and management reporting

Work within QuickBooks Desktop while the company transitions to NetSuite

Assist with the NetSuite ERP implementation and cutover, including data validation, reconciliations and opening-balance activities

Support the implementation of FloQast for month-end close management and account reconciliations

Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting and close processes

Potentially assist with commodity hedge accounting and ASC 815-related activities

Partner with accounting and finance leadership on special projects and day-to-day accounting needs

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred

Strong hands-on month-end close experience

Solid experience with journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis

QuickBooks Desktop experience required

NetSuite experience strongly preferred, particularly experience working through an ERP implementation or transition

Food & beverage, CPG or consumer products experience strongly preferred

ERP implementation, conversion or cutover experience is a strong plus

FloQast experience is a plus

Hedge accounting, derivative accounting and/or ASC 815 experience is a plus, but not required

Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment

This role offers more than a traditional month-end close assignment. You'll have the opportunity to support a growing consumer products organization through a NetSuite ERP transition, FloQast implementation and accounting process improvements, while gaining exposure to additional technical accounting initiatives.

Schedule: 40 hours/week
