Requires 5+ years in accounting, GAAP proficiency, and Netsuite experience. CPA preferred; insurance industry exposure is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Sr. Accountant. Responsibilities

• 1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• 2. Participating in tax audits and payroll preparations.
• 3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenues.
• 4. Managing month-end and year-end closing.
• 5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
• 6. Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
• 7. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
• 8. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• 9. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service.
• 10. Using Netsuite for various accounting operations.

Qualifications

• 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered a plus.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• 3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
• 4. Proficiency in accounting software, with a particular emphasis on Netsuite.
• 5. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• 6. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• 7. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• 8. Excellent numerical skills with an ability to spot inaccuracies.
• 9. The ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.
• 10. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
