The salary range for this position is $94,400 - $142,000. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Initiate and grow the Portable Gas Detection business in the “South” US—Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
  2. Conduct wireless and technical presentations of the HGAS Portables Portfolio, supporting regional channel partners and end-users.
  3. Assist in setting product and pricing priorities.
  4. Collaborate with Marketing on promotions and programs.
  5. Work with technology partners to deliver value propositions.
  6. Provide customer feedback to marketing and sales leadership.
  7. Establish as a subject matter expert with key customers and partners.
  8. Develop sales strategies based on market intelligence.
  9. Engage company resources to close major deals as needed.
  10. Manage territory via daily use of Salesforce CRM, including calls, accounts, opportunities, proposals, ROI, and pricing.
  11. Forecast and meet revenue targets.
  12. Report weekly on regional performance to sales leadership.
  13. Travel primarily within Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota (minimum 40%).
Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • BA/BS degree or related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of field sales experience selling through channel partners and to the industrial sector.

Valued Skills:

  • Experience with industrial sales and gas detection monitors.
  • Knowledge of wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, MESH, BLE) is a plus.
  • Proven success in business development and profitable growth.
  • Experience selling technical solutions.
  • Strong hunter sales mentality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
