About The Job

The Canadian Sales Division seeks a Senior Retail Account Executive focused on customers in Canada. You will be part of the revenue team, building a qualified pipeline to drive revenue growth. Your role involves expanding our recurring revenue by positioning Software, Cloud, Education, and Support Services, along with Consulting and Health Checks. Success requires a passion for customer relationships, strategic selling, and delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with key decision-makers in large enterprises, selling SAS’s solutions including analytics, marketing, risk, fraud, and services.
  • Building trust-based relationships with key executives to demonstrate SAS solutions' value.
  • Understanding customer challenges and goals, showing how SAS solutions can help achieve them.
  • Possessing deep industry knowledge, especially in analytics and business case-driven selling.
  • Developing account plans aligned with sales objectives and adjusting as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with security policies to support secure software development.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in enterprise software sales, preferably in retail.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong prospecting skills and a competitive spirit.
  • Ability to present compelling business cases.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
