Job description

GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise, solutions, and services that help organizations make better decisions and minimize risk. By taking a three-tiered, holistic approach for evaluating security posture and ecosystems, GuidePoint enables some of the nation's top organizations, such as Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies, to identify threats, optimize resources, and integrate best-fit solutions that mitigate risk.

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Consistently meet sales and profitability goals.
  2. Position, configure, and quote product and service solutions to clients.
  3. Participate in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, OWASP, etc.
  4. Manage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  5. Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
  6. Create, edit, and close service proposals.
  7. Work with vendors to understand and position their technologies and value propositions.
  8. Participate in field marketing to generate interest and drive attendance at events.
  9. Represent GuidePoint to clients, articulating our areas of expertise.
  10. Set proper expectations and maintain open communication with clients and vendors.
  11. Leverage supporting resources in the sales process with teamwork.
  12. Develop and present sales presentations to large groups and executive clients.
Position Requirements:
  1. Minimum 7 years of outside sales experience in IT, preferably in Information Security.
  2. Experience with Salesforce.com.
  3. Strong group presentation skills.
  4. Proven history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads.
  5. Experience selling professional services, security audits, and assessments is a plus.
  6. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  7. Network security vendor-related certifications are strongly preferred.
