Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a SQL Server ETL Developer to design, build, and support data pipelines and databases powering reporting and analytics. You will work primarily with SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS to move data between source systems and file-based feeds, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on ETL development with Microsoft SSIS.
• Strong T-SQL skills including stored procedures, window functions, CTEs, and complex joins.
• Experience tuning query and database performance (execution plans, indexing, slow queries).
• Solid relational design and data warehousing knowledge (star schemas, slowly changing dimensions).
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting ETL jobs and production processes.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines moving data from various sources to destinations using SSIS, APIs, scripts, and other tools.
• Write and optimize T-SQL procedures, views, functions, and queries for reporting and analytics.
• Build incremental load patterns (watermarking, CDC, MERGE/upsert) for SQL Server Integration.
• Tune performance using execution plans, indexing, Query Store, and package-level optimization.
• Design and maintain dimensional models for the data warehouse and data marts.
• Build data quality checks, logging, error handling, and alerts within ETL processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Agent jobs and SSIS executions.
• Manage code in Git and follow code review, testing, deployment practices.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical designs and documentation.
