As a Database Engineer L3, you will support high performing, highly available SQL Server Clinical Applications OLTP environments within the vRad core technology platform, designing robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer-related field.
• 5–7 years SQL Server experience in mid to large sized environments.
• MCITP certification preferred.
• Experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PCI/PHI regulatory considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable SQL Server solutions.
• Write and optimize T-SQL for OLTP data access.
• Collaborate with local and remote team members to create data-driven applications.
• Create complex reports using SSRS and SSAS.
• Use ETL techniques to integrate data from disparate systems.
• Document deliverables for ongoing support.
• Operate SQL Server instances in high-availability environments.
• Install and configure SQL Server components including clustering and mirroring.
• Design scalable storage layouts and monitor issues in real time.
• Triage and resolve blocking, deadlocks, and performance issues.
• Tune SQL statements as needed.
• Participate in after-hours support rotation.
• Customise commercial products for integration with vRad’s platform.
