Job summary

Assumption University is seeking a Database & Enterprise Applications Analyst to manage the SQL Server environments and support enterprise systems including Ellucian Colleague ERP. You will ensure performance, security, and availability while delivering reporting and data extracts for multiple offices.

The role supports the migration from on-premises Ellucian Colleague to Ellucian SaaS and serves as a technical advisor to the Data Governance and Security Committee.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in database administration, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong proficiency with T-SQL and experience developing reports, queries, and data extracts.
Familiarity with data governance and data security concepts, including access management and regulatory considerations such as FERPA.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain the University's SQL Server database environments (installation, configuration, patching, backups, recovery, performance).
Provide technical and functional support for Ellucian Colleague ERP and coordinate with functional offices.
Design, develop, test, and maintain SQL-based reports, queries, and data extracts; support ad hoc reporting requests.
