Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge institutional stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on Ellucian Colleague, CRM platforms, reporting, and related technologies.

You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements; facilitate sessions; translate needs into actionable specs; and drive documentation, testing, and UAT across enterprise systems and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in business analysis, enterprise applications, or higher-education technology.
• Experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating requirements.
• Experience collaborating across functional and technical teams.
• Experience participating in technology projects or system implementations.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum concepts (user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, features, backlog).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business, functional, system, and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with academic, administrative, and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements for enterprise systems and reporting teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation including workflows, business processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and project artifacts.
• Serve as a liaison between functional users and technical teams throughout projects.
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and related initiatives.
• Support testing, UAT, implementation readiness, and post-implementation activities.
• Partner with Reporting teams to gather and validate requirements for dashboards and analytics.
• Assist with data validation and investigation of reporting discrepancies.
