Eliassen Group is seeking an Application Support Engineer for the Depositary Receipts Platform Engineering team in Lake Mary, FL. The role focuses on production support, root cause analysis, performance monitoring, and automation to improve reliability and customer experience.

The position is a contract-to-hire on a hybrid model (4 days onsite). Requires 8–10 years of experience, with strong Java, Angular, Kafka, and SQL skills, plus proficiency in DevOps practices and various tools.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of related experience; financial services experience is a plus.
• Experience with Java, Angular, Kafka, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and software development.
• Familiarity with AWS, Ansible, Docker, Linux, Azure, Python, Splunk, AppDynamics, and AI.
• Deep SQL Server analysis including performance tuning, deadlock identification, execution plan analysis, and debugging stored procedures and functions.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in production environments with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and stakeholders to resolve complex issues and implement fixes.
• Monitor application and database performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform maintenance to ensure stability.
• Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, knowledge articles, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze logs, code, and database performance metrics with attention to detail.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and implement scripts or tools to improve efficiency.
• Improve and protect software and systems for scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity.
• Continuously improve operational support and resolve end-to-end customer friction points.
• Understand the technical ecosystem to recognize systemic interrelationships and identify gaps.
• Apply DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CI/CD, configuration management, and sustainable scaling.
