Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Compliance Data Assurance Advisor to support analytics, validation, and control testing. You will develop SQL-based populations, analyze data, and deliver clear results to owners, Compliance, Exam Management, and Change Management.

Partner with Analytics and Validation to ensure data integrity and timely reporting. The role emphasizes dashboards, cross-functional collaboration, and communication with leadership, with on-site work at Coppell, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytical or quantitative discipline, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years related experience as a data analyst in a financial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and repeatable population logic for validation, testing, and reporting.
• Build population definitions with clear inclusion/exclusion criteria and sourcing.
• Perform data validation and quality checks on source systems and reports.
• Execute control testing and support remediation tracking with evidence packaging.
• Analyze trends and outliers to identify risk indicators and root causes.
• Produce dashboards and management reporting (Excel, Tableau/Power BI) to communicate findings to stakeholders.
