Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Compliance Data Assurance Advisor to support analytics and control testing. You will develop SQL-based populations, validate data, and deliver results to stakeholders including Compliance and Exam Management.

The role partners with the Analytics and Validation Manager to ensure data integrity and timely reporting. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 2–4 years of data analyst experience in finance, with strong SQL and data visualization

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in analytical or quantitative discipline, or related STEM field.
2–4 years of experience as a data analyst in a financial setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SQL queries and repeatable population logic to support validation, testing, issue management, exam responses, and operational reporting.
Build and document population definitions (inclusion/exclusion criteria, timeframes, data sources, and assumptions) to ensure reproducible results.
Perform data validation and quality checks on source systems, extracts, and reports, including reconciliations and exception identification.
Execute and support control testing and ongoing monitoring, including sample selection and evidence packaging.
