Job summary

Newrez is hiring a Compliance Data Assurance Advisor to support analytics, data validation, and control testing. You will develop SQL-based populations, validate data quality, and deliver repeatable results for leadership and exam management.

You will build dashboards in Excel, Tableau or Power BI, partner with Compliance, Operations and Technology, and communicate findings to stakeholders. On-site role with growth opportunities within risk and reporting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical or quantitative discipline, or related STEM field.
• 2–4 years related experience as a data analyst in a financial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and population logic for validation, testing, and reporting.
• Document population definitions with inclusion/exclusion criteria and data sources.
• Perform data validation and quality checks on source systems and reports.
• Execute control testing and support testing and remediation tracking.
• Produce dashboards and management reporting (Excel, Tableau/Power BI) for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations, Compliance, and Technology to fix data issues and optimize queries.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to leadership.
