Job summary

RTX’s Naval Radars division in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Program Director to lead the SPY-6 Design Agent program. You will oversee engineering services, software, systems and hardware while coordinating across sites to deliver on schedule, budget, and technical performance.

This senior role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of program management experience, with defense contracts and L/P knowledge. onsite in Marlborough or Tewksbury; travel up to 10–25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with 10+ years.
• Experience leading complex software and hardware development programs.
• P&L responsibility with annual revenues over $50 million.
• Experience with IV&V, transition to production, and sustainment.
• Experience staffing contracts and working with U.S. Navy customers.
• Raytheon PM Certification Level 2 or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SPY-6 Design Agent PMO, including three Variant Program Managers and a Program Integrator.
• Establish program vision, priorities, and execution strategies to ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Serve as primary interface with Navy customers, maintaining strong relationships and updates on milestones.
• Manage program cost, schedule, technical and quality objectives; support AOP and forecasts.
• Lead geographically dispersed cross-functional teams across software, systems, and hardware.
