Job summary

SPS - AA Medical is hiring a Receiving Specialist to join the Inventory & Logistics team in Pittsburgh. You will handle accurate reception, inspection, and management of surgical products, while supporting shipping and order fulfillment as needed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and inventory management systems (ERP experience a plus).
• BA/BS degree is a plus but relevant experience considered in place of degree.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to learn quickly from mistakes.
• Integrity and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and reconcile purchase orders.
• Receive, inspect, and verify surgical products (sterile integrity and expiration dates).
• Perform precise data entry and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate with Logistics, Sales, Acquisitions teams.
• Assist with product descriptions, market research, and cost/price determinations.
• Identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Organize and shelve inventory in warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and process domestic and international orders (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
• Lift and carry parcels up to 40 lbs.

About the role

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Receiving Specialist to join our Inventory & Logistics team. This role is central to ensuring accurate inventory reception, inspection, and management, as well as supporting shipping and order fulfillment when needed.

What you’ll do

• Perform moderate lifting and carrying of parcels (up to 40 lbs)
