Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sprinkler Sales professional with 3–5 years experience in contract sales of sprinkler systems. You will prospect, negotiate and close contracts, estimating costs for installation and service while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

The role offers excellent pay based on experience plus commission, a generous car allowance, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must pass background checks and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in contract sales of sprinkler systems or sprinkler design.
• Demonstrated sales experience with strong prospecting skills, proven history of successful sales and contract negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge and experience related to the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, especially fire sprinkler systems, including wet and dry systems.
• Knowledge of applicable state and local codes, Fire Marshals, NFPA Standards, ADA and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
• Good record keeping and safety policy adherence; valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimation of fire suppression sprinkler systems including costs for installation, parts/materials, design time and labor hours.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per company policies.
• This role is safety-sensitive due to responsibilities that could entail use of motor vehicles, working at heights, and climbing ladders.
