Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Install Apprentice in Johnson City, Tennessee. You will assist the foreman with installing sprinkler systems and related piping for commercial and industrial applications, while adhering to safety policies and documentation standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate in English.
• Physically capable of performing essential apprenticeship tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman in installing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures at job sites.
• Maintain proper documentation for work performed.
• Carry/move equipment and tools up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and work in various positions when required.
