Top Prospect Group in Farmington, CT is seeking a Spring Set-Up Operator. You will set up, adjust, and operate spring coiling and secondary equipment to produce precision components.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain production uptime. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in spring manufacturing, are detail-oriented, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting quality and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade certification; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum five years of spring manufacturing setup experience.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting spring coiling and secondary equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and specs.
• Capability to use gauges and inspection tools with precision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate spring coiling and secondary equipment.
• Maintain machine uptime and production efficiency across shifts.
• Perform minor repairs and tooling changes as required.
• Follow safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
• Monitor quality and scrap, supporting continuous improvement.
• Assist with training and mentoring of operators when needed.
