Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Spring Manufacturing Setup Technician to join their client’s team in Horseheads, NY. You will set up, troubleshoot, and optimize compression spring coiling equipment to meet exacting customer specifications and production targets.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of setup experience in spring manufacturing or related metal fabrication, with experience on Torin and/or WAFIOS coiling machines and a strong eye for quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of setup experience in spring manufacturing or related metal fabrication.
• Experience with Torin and/or WAFIOS spring coiling machines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Aufgaben

• Set up, adjust, and operate compression spring coiling machines.
• Install and adjust tooling, guides, mandrels, and other components.
• Perform machine changeovers efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and support process improvements.
