Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Santa Clara, CA seeks an Automation & Robotics Engineering Spring Co-op to support development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions across manufacturing workflows.

You will design and test automation, write scripts, collect and visualize data, and collaborate with NPI, Manufacturing, Process, and Quality teams. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in edge computing, IoT, and machine vision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS in Robotics/Mech/Elec/CS or related field.
• Basic programming in Python/C++/MATLAB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development, testing, and deployment of automation systems.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate workflows.
• Support system integration, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with testing, documentation, and data visualization.
• Explore edge computing and IoT solutions for manufacturing.
• Collect and analyze data from automated equipment.
