Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student in Thousand Oaks, CA, to support design and development of automation and electrical control systems. You will work under experienced engineers, learn to interface with process equipment, and travel to client plants for planning and testing.

The role offers growth into leadership of a project team, exposure to database, AI, and UI tool integration, and hands-on experience across systems and information solutions.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field (Engineering/Control Systems)
• GPA 3.0 or above
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with process lines, equipment and sensors
• Architect solutions from database to AI to user interface tools
• Provide clients with real-time, actionable information reports
• Develop quality code per established standards
• Work in a team with engineers and designers
• Travel to customer sites for planning meetings, commissioning and testing
• Grow into leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide automation and information solutions
