Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Automation Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and expand automation systems supporting manufacturing, packaging, facilities and utilities. You will serve as the technical expert for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, BMS and serialization.
You will lead an automation team, manage contractors, own systems lifecycle, support validation and regulatory compliance (FDA/cGMP), drive improvements to reliability and OEE, and contribute to capital projects and digital platforms.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical/Automation/Controls/Mechanical or related.
- 7-10 years automation/controls/manufacturing systems experience.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC/HMI and industrial networks.
- FDA-regulated/cGMP environment experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation team and manage contractors; set priorities.
- Own manufacturing/packaging automation systems and data collection.
- Drive reliability improvements and OEE via root-cause analysis.
- Support automation portion of capital projects and modernization roadmaps.
- Maintain OT networks and assist cybersecurity alignment.
- Contribute to change control and validation activities.
