Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will manage patient care for an assigned group, collaborating with the care team and reflecting the hospital's values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred for some units and additional Life Support credentials may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients with collaboration and coordination with the care team.
• Adhere to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies while delivering safe, high-quality care.

Required
