Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse who will independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines. You will manage patient care for an assigned group of patients while upholding hospital values of collaboration and empowerment.

The ideal candidate will be a Georgia-licensed RN with BLS; BSN and additional life-support certifications are preferred to support unit-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients in alignment with Northside Hospital philosophy and policies.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.


2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

1. BSN degree


2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.


3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
