Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide high-quality nursing care following physician orders and established guidelines.

The RN must be licensed in Georgia in good standing and BLS certified; BSN and advanced Life Support credentials are preferred to support specialty units and critical care teams at Northside.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN degree and additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).
• Visual color acuity may be required for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and guidelines.
• Manages patient care for an assigned group of patients following Northside Hospital policies.
• Demonstrates collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment in daily practice.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
