The candidate will gain hands-on experience with freight planning, asset utilization, DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis while learning industry trends and company initiatives related to

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Preferred: Junior or Senior level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure and understanding of basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily operational tasks including planning of freight and asset utilization; safety management; DOT compliance; driver payroll; logistics management/analysis; driver supervision; P&L management; maintenance coordination.
• Understand industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention.
• Perform account-specific duties as required by the customer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
