Job summary

You will gain understanding of planning freight, asset utilization, DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis while supporting customer-specific duties and learning industry trends.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited institution.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.
• This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure and understanding of basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily operational tasks including planning of freight; asset utilization; safety management; DOT compliance; driver payroll; and logistics analysis.
• Support customer value delivery and driver supervision as required.
• Learn industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention.
• Perform account-specific duties as required by the customer.
