J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is offering an operations internship designed for undergraduate students.

You will gain exposure to transportation management principles and participate in daily tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, safety, and DOT compliance while supporting driver payroll and logistics analysis. The internship emphasizes flexibility in hours, opportunities to learn across departments, and potential bonuses based on profitability or volumes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and able to work 20-25 hours per week.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, and DOT compliance.
• Assist with driver payroll and customer value delivery activities.
• Engage in logistics management/analysis and driver supervision.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
