Job summary

PPG Industries is hiring a Spray Technician, Weekday Nights, to join the Paint Process Laboratory team in Cleveland, OH. You will operate spray equipment and robotics to test coatings and record results with precision.

No prior experience is required—paid training is provided. This shift runs Tue–Fri, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM. The base salary is $52,000 with a weekend premium, plus medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, etc.)

Job description

As a Spray Technician, Weekday Nights , you will join our Paint Process Laboratory team. You will work with advanced spray equipment and robotics to test and evaluate coatings used in real-world applications. You will report to the Applications Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

NO Prior Experience Necessary. Paid Training.

This shift is Tuesday to Friday from 7pm to 5:30am.

The base salary for this position is $52,000 with an additional weekend premium offered.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate spray equipment following standard procedures
• Run paint applications tests using automated and robotic systems, spray and test samples of paint from production
• Record process settings and test results using computer systems
• Analyze and communicate detailed observations
• Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized lab (5S standards)
• Enter data into applications logs
