Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Spray Technician, Weekday Nights to join the Paint Process Laboratory team. You will work with advanced spray equipment and robotics to test coatings for real-world applications, reporting to the Applications Supervisor and working onsite.

No prior experience is required. Paid training is provided. The shift runs Tuesday to Friday from 7pm to 5:30am, with a base salary of $52,000 plus a weekend premium.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate spray equipment following standard procedures.
• Run paint applications tests using automated and robotic systems, spray and test samples of paint from production.
• Record process settings and test results using computer systems.
• Analyze and communicate detailed observations.
• Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab (5S standards).
• Enter data into applications logs.
